HappyBottom Ultimate is our premium pool pad. Made of a super premium cross-linked foam, it is the ultimate in swimming pool floor padding. The cross-linking provides extra toughness and resilience. HappyBottom Ultimate resists flattening, even when used under the liners of pools that have extra high walls. It is made with the same material used under artificial turf in NFL football fields.

This pool pad can add years of life to a pool and its liner. Used under a pool, HappyBottom creates a puncture resistant barrier that helps protect the liner. The pool pad also acts as a vapor barrier that keeps corrosion causing moisture away from metal pool components and the pool liner.

NOTE: GEOTEXTILE pads DO NOT provide cushioning like HappyBottom does. Geotextile pads are flimsy, hard to install felt like products. They are not much thicker than a heavy piece of cloth. Because they come as one big sheet, they are hard to install. It is difficult to get a smooth, wrinkle free pool bottom when using a geotextile product. Geotextile products are porous and hold water much like a sponge does. This trapped water can promote black mold growth which may be visible through the pool liner. Use HappyBottom or our Perfect Pool Bottom instead.

(We do not recommend using HappyBottom® without Gladon Pool Cove.)
